We're currently seeking a strong full time Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant or Paralegal 

to work on highly complex and monetarily significant matters.  

This person will work at our corporate headquarters in Piscataway, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling commerial loan closing checklists;
• Preparing resolutions for borrowers and guarantors, affidavits of title, opinion letters, escrow letters, and organizational charts;
• Communicating with lenders’ counsel and title companies;
• Organizing executed loan documents;
• Preparing deeds and transfer forms;
• Preparing contract amendments, master deeds, bylaws, joint venture agreements, etc. (these tasks would entail gathering information and preparing forms, but not reviewing documents substantively, which our attorneys will handle); and
• Forming new entities, obtaining EINs, and preparing operating agreements.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal in a commercial  setting.
• Strong understanding of real estate law, loan documentation, and closing procedures.
• Strong experience handling commercial loan closings
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Careful attention to detail and support senior attorneys.
