  • Work closely with ownership to determine department priorities and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Development, Leasing, Construction, and Property Management to ensure seamless project delivery and responsiveness to business needs.
  • Establish and maintain architectural standards, processes, and quality control measures to drive efficiency and consistency across projects.
  • Guide zoning and code analysis, entitlement strategies, and coordination with municipalities, consultants, and contractors throughout New Jersey.
  • Oversee staffing, workload distribution, and hiring within the Architecture Department; manage external consultants when needed.
  • Serve as a senior representative of the Architecture team in executive meetings, project reviews, and portfolio planning discussions.
  • Monitor schedules, budgets, and deliverables for architectural scope across all active projects; anticipate risks and proactively implement solutions.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in design quality and delivery performance.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program
  •  15+ years of progressive experience in architectural practice, with a focus on multi-family, mixed-use, or commercial development preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or senior management role, with experience supervising project teams and coordinating with executive leadership.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate both creative and business considerations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Bluebeam, and Adobe Suite.
  • Ability to mentor staff, foster team cohesion, and promote a collaborative and accountable work culture.
