Edgewood Properties is currently seeking candidates interested in a career working in property management. We currently have openings for a FT Concierge staff member to run the front desk and clubhouse at our BRAND NEW - The Edge at Matawan luxury apartment community.

The successful individual shall have prior experience working at residential community or working in the hotel/retail/food & beverage industry.


This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with our property management teams and to catapult your career in real estate/property management. Must have excellent communication skills and be very customer service oriented. 





  • As a concierge at one of our communities you will play a vital role in the daily customer service operation of our leasing and management office.
  • Manage the front desk and be the first greeter when a resident, prospective resident, vendor, or contractor comes to the office. Emphasize providing excellent customer relationship management. Guest will be offered refreshments while waiting for a Leasing Consultant to meet with them.
  • Answer any questions on the community amenities and assist residents with gate cards/keys.
  • Assist residents who come to the front desk to make a service request by entering that service request into the system for them.
  • Provide the residents community communication. Communication may occur daily, weekly, or monthly and will be provided via the computer portal and postings.
  • Assist Sr. Concierge with resident events at the community such as meetings, parties, cooking nights, movie nights, and other special events aimed at resident retention.
  • Manage and organize the package room by accepting packages, notifying the resident, and locating and giving the correct packages to the resident.
  • The ability to multi-task and handle various duties at one time.
  • Time-management and problem-solving skills are very important.
  • Interact with residents and prospective residents.
  • Assist leasing Consultants with filing and scheduling.
  • Assist Property Manager with minor tasks.
  • Communicating fluently in English with residents. Bi-lingual Spanish is a huge plus!
  • Maintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude toward residents, employees and management staff.
  • Assist residents with locating dining and entertainment accommodations outside the community.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn property management software
  • Provide excellent Customer Service to residents in a luxury environment.


High school graduate; or equivalent ang related customer service experience.
