Edgewood Properties, a leading New Jersey commercial and residential real estate developer, is currently seeking a full-time Recruiter. The Recruiter will work alongside of our current corporate recruiter to assist with our recruitment of property managers, leasing consultants, concierge, maintenance supervisors, maintenance technicians, groundskeepers and housekeepers. These positions are a huge part of our success and operations at all of our residential communities or properties. 



  • Source, call, screen, and interview applicants for the above residential community openings.
  • Communicate with and update corporate recruiter daily regarding the status of our openings.
  • Travel to our communities when necessary to conduct face to face interviews.
  • Conduct face to face interviews at our corporate office when needed.
  • Thoroughly check and verify candidate background and employment dates.
  • Conduct reference checks for all openings prior to any offers being made. 
  • Keep a daily log of your interviews and activity. 
  • Enter all resumes into our internal applicant tracking software and database. 
  • Make sure all information entered is accurate. 
  • Coordinate with outside vendors/agencies when appropriate or needed.
  • Respond to all applications within a timely fashion. 
  • Fill 2-3+ openings per week. 
  • Develop database of resumes in our applicant tracking software for our residential openings.
  • Communicate with our property staff and management when needed regarding openings.
  • Draft effective job descriptions and post openings on Monster, Bullhorn, Linkedin, Facebook, and our internal career portal/website. 



  • MUST have experience recruiting property managers, leasing consultants, and maintenance technicians. Experience recruiting in other industries/departments is a plus.
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of recruiting experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable talking on the phone most of the day.
  • Prior experience conducting interviews on the phone and in-person.
  • Experience with boolean searching on Monster or other job boards.
  • Experience writing job descriptions.
  • Prior experience with applicant tracking software. (Bullhorn, iCIMS, Zoho, SmartSearch, Sendouts, Profile, etc.)
  • Experience managing a candidate from initial interview through offer letter and on-boarding.
  • Very organized and detail-oriented. 
  • Comfortable working long hours.
